KUCHING (Feb 25): Think-tanks, businesses, and policymakers are encouraged to collaborate with the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHEDA) to explore sustainable development strategies.
SHEDA deputy president Louis Ting emphasized the importance of aligning Sarawak’s built environment with high sustainability standards. Speaking at the inaugural ‘SHEDA: Encore Conference,’ he highlighted the need for accessible, affordable housing while adhering to Sarawak-centric sustainability principles.
During the event, SHEDA signed MoUs with GreenRE Sdn Bhd, offering Sheda members discounts on green certification. Five developers were also recognized for submitting projects for GreenRE certification.
