Energy Certificate Assessment

Stage 1:

Application and Registration

Applicants are recommended to make an inquiry pertaining to proposed project in which certification is to be done. This is so that the application procedure can commence smoothly. Once application form has been submitted along with required documents as stipulated within the application form, a Letter of Offer (LOO) is issued to the applicant. Once the Letter of Offer has been accepted by the applicant, the initial stage of the project assessment can commence.

Stage 2:

Project Pre-Assessment and Site Verification Assessment

Upon confirmation of successful application for assessment of a project, the project team can opt for a Pre-assessment (optional) or submit for Site Verification Assessment directly. The pre-assessment stage is an opportunity for the project team to clarify proposed design strategies prior to formal review submission i.e. Site Verification Assessment stage. All Documentary evidences per submission checklist must be compiled accordingly for Site Verification Assessment stage review.

The Site Verification Form initiates the final step in the certification process, which includes the physical verification of the project (site verification). If all criteria and requirements agreed upon in the initial pre-assessment procedure is satisfactory and have been sufficiently executed, a final review is done by the Assessors and results will be notified. Following the final review, the much-coveted GreenRE Final Energy Certificate is awarded to accredit the project team, individuals and organisations involved in their achievements towards the advancement of sustainable real estate in Malaysia.
