1st July - GreenRE is part of the Technical Advisory Committee for A Comprehensive National Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Study for Building Sector, organised by PETRA in collaboration with Suruhanjaya Tenaga, which UTM and MAESCO as the consultants.

This BEI project’s objectives and outcomes are to set BEI benchmarking methodology for the six key building categories; educational institute, office, hotel, healthcare, retail and data centre. It also acts as a guideline for building energy benchmarking and reporting, National Building Energy Label and establishment of the BEI database.

In addition to serving a shared objective and national interest, the BEI benchmarking facilitates compliance with EECA enforcement which benefits to the entire industry.
