Towards low carbon mobility
While no transportation masterplan was mapped out in
the overall development, the developers successfully
connected the integrated township linking vehicle and
pedestrian networks for seamless mobility, allowing tenants
to enjoy savings from Scope 3 emissions. Pedestrian link
bridges encourage walking and ease up access to public
transportation, reducing reliance on private vehicles. To
support the use of public transportation, facilities include 500
Park & Ride carpark bays, MRT feeder bus and pedestrian
link to the MRT station and the new LRT 3 station. A network
of tunnel links and elevated highways allow tenants/visitors
of adjacent buildings - IBM/KPMG Tower, 1 First Avenue, One
World Hotel, and 1 Utama direct access to the respective car
parks off Persiaran Bandar Utama as well as 1 Powerhouse
and Avante Hotel, eliminating traffic load and congestion on
surface roads.
