Environmentally friendly from the get-go

From the start, Eco Business Park wanted to embed people
into the garden, so the green park offers a good network of
bicycle and pedestrian paths. It also wanted to create an
environmentally conscious community through its extensive
focus on all things green. Recycling bins are incorporated
in public areas, while its lush landscaping is monitored and
irrigated manually to avoid energy-consumption, and makes
use of water harvested from ponds in the vicinity. The entire
park and its buildings use timer-controlled LED lighting,
monitored on the energy plan, while every factory unit is
furnished with a 400 gallon tank for rainwater harvesting. All
furniture and fittings are green certified to avoid exposure to
harmful chemicals.

Nature-based solutions

The idea was to transform from the notion of conventional
business parks to sustainable, inspiring work spaces with
thriving parkland and bright, open garden spaces as the
central theme. The project team factored at least 60% native
plants in the landscaping design improving biodiversity,
reducing water requirements and accelerating climate
adaptation. The natural elements add value towards the
green living environment for people, planet and profit. Eco
Business Park demonstrates its commitment to encourage
and preserve nature, making it a unique place to work.

Getting the best thermal throughput

While the park was designed as a zone for native flora
to thrive, the building is composed with energy efficient
and thermal comfort in mind. Eco Business Park uses
high-performance insulation materials to reduce energy
consumption and improve thermal efficiency. This helps to
